Some people may not see a Nurse Practitioner as being as important as those with an “M.D.” at the end of their name. However, as we’ve already seen in a previous article, nurse practitioners can be, and are, legitimate healthcare professionals, and they have a variety of duties that they carry out on a daily basis. One of those duties can be writing prescriptions for patients. Since we’ve already covered nurse practitioners before, we won’t spend a lot of time here.
