Can I Eat Dinner with My Loved One at a Care Facility?

We already discussed the topic of residents eating dinner with others in the facility. You may be curious though, as to whether or not you as a family member or friend can eat dinner with your loved one in the facility as well.

Typically, it shouldn’t be a big deal for you to eat with your loved one if you’re stopping by for a visit. Although, you might want to check with the administration first prior to your visit just to make sure. All facilities are different, so they may have different rules regarding eating with family members. However, they are likely to have  a common dining area where families may be able to go to eat with their loved ones. This is a fairly common request for visiting family members, so you should be able to find out right away if you ask.
